Conveyancing Officer

The successful candidate will join our legal team providing services related to conveyancing, examination of title to properties and assisting in the management and handling of all queries and associated matters so as to ensure a smooth and effective process.

Duties

• Vetting of title to properties;
• Updating / interpreting Public Registry / Land Registry searches;
• Drafting and reviewing of relevant deeds;
• Legal representation of the Bank for publication of deeds;
• Executing post deed procedures and ensuring compliance;
• Settlement of deceased estates.

Requirements

• Hold a law degree;
• Competent and experienced in conveyancing duties;
• Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines;
• Can work both independently and also within a team;
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Hold a command of both Maltese and English.
